About The Academy
Active. Graceful. Strong
We offer ballet classes in the Cecchetti method for children from the age of 2 ½ years and up.
At EDDA, we believe every child's class should be special.
Students have the option of working towards Cecchetti Classical Ballet Examinations which later on, are equivalent to a GCSE, AS or A-Level. Our exams are adjudicated by professional examiners from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).
We believe that music is an essential part of a dancers journey, all our classes are accompanied by live piano music, which allows children to interpret and understand a range of music styles and tempos.
Our aim at the Academy is for every student to feel confident, inspired, supported and above all to have fun. Our classes aim to not only create strong skilled dancers but to also develop enthusiasm and passion in dance that will remain with our dancers for the rest of their lives.
We would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
