Emily Davis

Principal

Having taught ballet for over 5 years, Emily started ballet aged 2 ½. She has gone on to pursue her dance training with Distinctions to an advanced level, and at a young age was awarded a place on the prestigious Cecchetti Associates programme.

Throughout this time Emily was given the opportunity to perform as a soloist in a number of productions, which fuelled her love of performing. Highlights of these roles include, Fairy Godmother in Cinderella; The Arabian Dancer and The Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker.

Emily was invited to choreograph and perform a solo piece at The Wigmore Hall and has also choreographed and performed for a number of music videos. In 2016, she was given the opportunity to take on the role of Stage Manager for the Vacani School of Dance production of Cinderella, where £7,000 was raised for Neo Natal Intesive Care charity.

Emily’s love of dance has led her to pursue her professional teaching qualifications, where she has gained her ISTD DDI (Diploma in Dance Instruction) in Cecchetti Classical Ballet.

Emily continues to advance her training, through both teaching qualifications and performance opportunities.

Jeanne Le Bec

Ballet Assistant

Hello! I’m Jeanne, for the past 6 months I’ve been helping Ms.Emily and Ms.Claire. I’ve been doing ballet since I was 5 years old in France, I still do ballet and I also help younger girls with ballet. I really enjoy helping others and learning a new way to take leadership. In my school, we have Duke of Edinburgh, which is an organisation which helps young people to be more committed. For example, we have to do 3 months of a sport, 3 months of a skill and 6 months of volunteering. My volunteering was ballet and it taught me how to work with children. I can’t thank Miss Emily enough for the opportunity she's given me!
